Holly Clausius is a Cabbagetown-based singer-songwriter creating soul-soaked folk rock. Known for powerhouse vocals, infectious hooks, and vulnerable storytelling, Holly’s music explores identity, self-love, relationships, and the beautifully messy process of becoming yourself.

With nearly seven years as a full-time musician, Holly has performed across Canada and internationally, including Pride Toronto, NXNE, Canadian Music Week, TIFF, and a sold-out Cross Canada Wildflowers Tour. Their music has also been featured on Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia, with their song “Yellow Dress,” and they’ve collaborated with artists including Serena Ryder and Hill Kourkoutis.

Beyond the Beat is Toronto’s leading artist-development studio and performance-based music school, where young musicians go beyond traditional lessons to form bands, write original music, record in a professional studio, and perform live.

At this year’s Cabbagetown Festival, Beyond the Beat proudly presents four of its emerging bands: The Torontonians, Daylight Mission, The Kicks, and Early Warning. Each group brings its own sound, style, and energy to the stage, showcasing the creativity and talent of Toronto’s next generation of performers.

The Imbayakunas, a music group from Ecuador, was formed in 1999 by it's director/founder, Patricio Chiza, to showcase the traditional Andean music of Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia and to promote the native culture of our Andean and indigenous countries of South America. We have 27 years of artistic experience, primarily in Canada, but also in Europe, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico and Ecuador. The music we perform is Andean and Latin American, it is always an honor for the group to participate in festivals sharing our music.

Sandra & Antonietta are the dynamic duo behind Cheatin’ Hearts Line Dancing, a vibrant and welcoming line dance community based in the Greater Toronto Area. Best friends and country music lovers, they turned their shared passion for country beats and boot-stompin’ fun into a mission: to make line dancing accessible, inclusive, and joyful for everyone.

With contagious enthusiasm and patient instruction, Sandra and Antonietta lead lively lessons and events across Toronto, York Region, and Durham Region — guiding dancers from beginner to high beginner line dance routines, all while creating a fun, social atmosphere where people can laugh, connect, and make memories on the dance floor.

Storm The Palace is a Toronto-area based party band playing your favourite New Wave, Retro-Alternative, synth-pop and dance hits of the 1980’s. Performing the classic songs by bands you’ll never forget, and those great one-hit wonders by artists whose names you can’t quite remember, Storm The Palace have been energizing dancefloors since 2012. Depeche Mode, New Order, Erasure, Prince, and everything that is still great about the 80’s is in the queue when Storm The Palace performs. The dance floor is waiting…

DJ Andre 905 is an open-format DJ and entertainer with over 15 years of experience bringing energy to clubs, weddings, corporate events, and major sporting events. Based in the 905, he is the Official DJ for Raptors 905 and the Brampton Honey Badgers, and has also rocked crowds for the Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Toronto Argonauts. Having shared the stage with artists such as Lloyd, Deborah Cox, Jully Black, DVSN, Tyga, etc alongside deejaying parties attended by Drake, French Montana, Kehlani, Jessie Reyez, DJ Khaled, etc

Danny Marks is a Toronto-born musician and broadcaster with a lifelong passion for music. Starting guitar at 11, he immersed himself in the local scene, eventually co-founding Edward Bear, which opened for legends like Led Zeppelin, The Byrds, and Humble Pie. Marks has collaborated with icons like Rick James, Bo Diddley, and Rita Coolidge, and hosted radio shows including CBC Radio's Hum Line and JAZZ FM91's Saturday Night BLUZ FM (since 1997). His critically acclaimed albums have earned awards in Canada and Europe. Danny received a "Blues with a Feeling" lifetime achievement award in 2006. As of summer 2026, his latest CD album "Back to the Blues" is riding at #4 on the Big Blues Chart in Canada, #5 in Europe. To top it all off, Danny's Dad grew up on Parliament Street and Danny himself has been a resident of Cabbagetown since 1974. He continues to play in the hometown venues. With his guitar work and engaging personality, Danny Marks remains a significant figure in Canadian music.

Catherine brings a warm pop/folk sound to her covers and sings a range of sweet ear-catching tunes by artists such as Carole King, Fleetwood Mac, Cyndi Lauper, and Jann Arden. Her experience includes performing for The Lakeshore Art Trail, The Lakeview Farmers’ Market, Streetsville Local MRKT, and Visual Arts Mississauga’s “Art Night Out” as well as brightening private events and receptions with live music. Over the past several summers Catherine has been performing acoustic sets as a permitted busker.

21-year-old Siobhan Bodrug is “tearing it up” (Hidden Beats Media) with her catchy, retro-modern indie-pop/rock. Her dark & intimate melodies evoke Billie Eilish, her powerhouse delivery channels Alanis Morissette. Siobhan has captivated audiences at Rockwood Music Hall NYC, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Summerfolk, and at the world’s largest music festival Summerfest (Ed Sheeran, Post Malone). She's opened for Stars, Juno-winners Dizzy, Joel Plaskett, The Watchmen, Kasador, & Elliott Brood. She has been featured in Billboard Canada and Next Magazine for her most recent single ‘Monster’, the fourth single off her forthcoming debut album "Imperfect" coming later this year - marks a defining moment in her artistic evolution.

Ariel View is more than an artist name — it’s a reflection of a way of seeing life. Rooted in spirituality and guided by curiosity, Ariel View considers herself a lifelong student, embracing every person, situation, and experience as a catalyst for growth, transformation, and deeper understanding.

Creating a sound she calls Afro Psychedelic Soul, Ariel View blends the rhythms of Afrobeats and Reggae with psychedelic textures and the warmth of Neo Soul, creating music that feels both grounded and otherworldly. Inspired by artists such as Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse, Cleo Sol, and many others, her sound is deeply rooted in soul while continuously evolving beyond traditional boundaries.

Whispr is a four-piece pop band from Toronto, formed in 2021. Drawing from a wide range of influences, the group has developed a distinct indie style while building a growing following through releases and shows across Toronto’s club circuit. Whispr released their debut EP in early 2026 and continues to build momentum both onstage and beyond.

Dr. Draw and The Strange Parade is a four piece instrumental band led by electric violinist Dr. Draw. The band combines electric violin, live drums, guitar, and bass, drawing from electronic, orchestral, and contemporary instrumental music.

Twisted Fate is a rock band made up of talented young musicians chasing something bigger than themselves. Blending classic rock energy with fearless live performances, they take on legendary songs while building a sound and story of their own. What started as a group of kids sharing a stage is quickly becoming a band determined to leave its mark.

Mâmawin'towin: A Métis Kitchen Party is a vibrant acoustic concert experience co-led by celebrated Métis fiddler Alyssa Katrine (2x CFMA Award winner) and JUNO-nominated, CFMA Award–winning Métis singer-songwriter Amanda Rheaume, the performance blends lively fiddle tunes with powerful songwriting and storytelling drawn from Métis history and lived experience. The duo has toured internationally, most recently performing at World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan and in Australia, sharing Métis music with global audiences.

At the heart of the performance is the fiddle — an instrument central to Métis gatherings, celebrations, and storytelling traditions. Spirited reels and jigs sit alongside contemporary songs inspired by real people, places, and moments in Métis history, with stories shared between songs that invite audiences into a deeper understanding of Métis culture.
