CaféTO Grant Applications for 2025

Calling all Cabbagetown restaurant, café, and bar owners! The CaféTO Grant (formerly known as the CaféTO Property Improvement Program) is now accepting applications—and it's a great opportunity to freshen up your patio space ahead of the busy summer season.

What’s on offer?
Eligible businesses can receive up to $7,500 in matching funds—that’s 50% of the cost—to support improvements to patios located in the curb lane, on sidewalks, or on private property.

Key Details at a Glance:

• Grant Amount: Up to $7,500 (covers 50% of eligible patio upgrades)

• Who’s Eligible: Local restaurant, bar, and café owners

• Deadline to Apply: June 4th or until funds run out—whichever comes first!

• Important Note: You must apply and receive approval before starting any patio work. Starting early will make you ineligible for funding.

Businesses that previously received the maximum grant amount through the earlier CaféTO Property Improvement Program are not eligible for this round.
