$5,000 Retail Modernization Project Grant
The Retail Modernization Project Grant (RMPG) supports retail businesses looking to advance their digital transformation through new equipment and software. Eligible businesses can access up to $5,000 in matched, non-repayable funding through the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI), aimed at helping retailers compete and thrive on main streets.
This grant can help cover eligible costs such as:
Hardware and software purchases
Tools that improve operations (inventory, POS, scheduling, customer communications)
Direct external costs required to implement new systems
Applications are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s smart to review the requirements early and register if you’re considering upgrades in the coming months.
