Experience live music woven throughout the streets of Cabbagetown with a special series of pop-up performances in a Music Crawl hosted by Canada's Music Incubator. Solo musicians will appear across the neighbourhood, transforming parks, patios, sidewalks, and public spaces into intimate live music moments that celebrate local talent and community connection.
Known for supporting emerging artists through mentorship, networking, and live performance opportunities, Canada’s Music Incubator brings together musicians from diverse genres and backgrounds to create vibrant, accessible musical experiences for audiences of all ages. As you explore Cabbagetown, discover new artists, enjoy spontaneous performances, and experience the neighbourhood through the soundtrack of Canada’s growing independent music scene.
Presented in partnership with The Cabbagetown BIA and Canada’s Music Incubator, the Music Crawl Tour will feature free musical performances throughout The Cabbagetown Pop-Up Series. Events will activate patios, storefronts, and public spaces through cultural programming, food, music, and community engagement.

Jesse Ryan is a JUNO-nominated saxophonist and composer with a keen interest in the connectionsbetween jazz and Afro-Caribbean musical traditions and communicating transcendent ideas through his music. Ryan grew up in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago surrounded by a rich heritage of music and is the grandson of one of the islands’ Calypso veterans, the late Clifton Ryan, aka the “Mighty Bomber”. He's the 2020 recipient of the Toronto Arts Foundation’s Emerging Jazz Artist Award and founder of the Kaiso Street Society, an arts organization preserving the legacy of Calypso.
Holly Clausius is a powerhouse singer-songwriter serving up soul-soaked pop with a campy, folk rock twist. Known for her unforgettable voice, bold hooks, and electric stage presence, she’s toured across Canada, the U.S., the U.K., and Europe—leaving audiences breathless with her raw emotion, humour, and genre-defying sound.
Kari Lyn, the "cottage core rockstar" blends rustic charm with raw, heartfelt rock. Inspired by her PEI roots and her grandfather’s fishing tales, she crafts timeless, evocative music shaped by her travels and the people she's met. With bold melodies, shockingly truthful lyrics, and a touch of wanderlust, her captivating sound invites you to dance, cry, and find your path.
Mo Guzman has a gift of raw vulnerability that transcends his audience in a heartfelt, unforgettable experience. Mo Guzman is a self-taught singer, guitarist, and percussionist with over a decade of experience. He began his career as a solo acoustic artist busking on the streets of downtown Toronto. His passion for music led him to obtain a TTC Subway Musician’s permit in 2015. This opened the door to many other opportunities, paving his career path in entertainment and connecting him with audiences across the Greater Toronto Area and abroad.
Miriyam Wilson was born in Trinidad, grew up in Montreal, QC, and currently resides in Toronto, ON. Miriyam has been performing, teaching, and competing with Steelpan for 35 years. Having grown a deep respect for the history and culture of Steelpan, Miriyam is working on ways to contribute to Steelpan culture.
