For more than 45 years, The Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre has been providing weekly individual instruction in piano, guitar, violin, drums, percussion, and voice to at-risk children living in low-income neighborhoods. They teach over 7,000 lessons a year and help close to 200 children each week, with students come from all backgrounds reflecting the diversity that is so Canadian.
To showcase the talent of their amazing students, The Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre is putting on recitals all week long to show Toronto what their students have to offer musically. Attendance is free, so everyone is welcome to watch the next generation of Cabbagetown’s talent showcase their practice and skills.
