Founded in 1988, the annual Cabbagetown Art & Craft Show has become a cherished tradition in one of Toronto’s most historic neighbourhoods. Held each year the weekend after Labour Day in Riverdale Park West, the show welcomes visitors from across Ontario to explore an inspiring outdoor marketplace in the heart of Cabbagetown.
A favourite among both artists and attendees for more than 30 years, the show underwent a major refresh in 2023 based on community feedback and now receives outstanding reviews for its relaxed atmosphere, exceptional quality, and diverse range of exhibitors. Visitors can browse juried displays, meet talented artists, designers, and artisans from across Canada, and discover unique, handcrafted works in a beautiful open-air gallery setting.
Exhibitor tents line the park’s shaded pathways beneath towering trees, creating a vibrant and welcoming experience over two-and-a-half days. With delicious food vendors, picnic areas, and a strong sense of community throughout the park, the Cabbagetown Art & Craft Show offers the perfect way to spend a late summer weekend.
